Details

Learn how to spin up your own Ethereum blockchain in this hands on workshop. We will be learning about genesis files, ethereum configurations, and consensus protocols. In this class, we will spin up our own blockchain using geth, or go-ethereum. Every student will generate their own Ethereum address and use it to send ether to each other (no real money needed). Observe your ether transfer from one student to the next within our own blockchain!

This workshop will use the terminal and is intended for people with a programming background. No prior Ethereum experience is required!

Geth is a command line interface for running a full ethereum node.
