What's your experience working with drones? Beginners are welcome!

A little experience, but much more with traditional Radio Control fixed-wing aircraft.

What kind of equipment do you own/operate (ArduCopter 3DR Hexacopter, Phantom, AR Drone etc...) You don't need to have your own equipment to join the group.

$90 CH-47 Helicopter from mall kiosk. A 1977-built .40 sized PT-19. A Goldberg Sky Tiger. An unbuilt Midwest Electric Hots airplane kit. Futaba, Kraft, and Specktrum RC equipment.

What events would you like to see this group have?

Built many traditional radio controlled airplances, between 1973 and 2010. Decent piloting skills. Got to fly an octocopter a little bit. Own a little 3 channel CH-47 helicopter that is easy to fly. Geograpic Information Systems experience.
