Interest in Kizomba is growing rapidly! Kizomba is a slow, sensual, fluid dance - a sort of oozing and swaying around the dance floor that can only be described as a pleasure to watch! Originating in Angola in the eighties, Kizomba is a mixture of Angolan Semba and Zouk from the French West Indies. Kizomba is most popular in Portuguese-speaking, or Lusophone countries, including Angola and Portugal.

See video preview:

Afrosensuality in partnership with prominent organizations in the Afro-Lusophone and Afro-Francophone communities, is dedicated to promoting the culture and dance of Kizomba and Semba in the DMV Metro area.
Please arrive on time and take advantage of local parking or METRO transit.

- Garage @ 14th St, beneath Target/Best Buy
- METRO: Columbia Heights (also on 14th St)

From 14th, walk up 14th St, turn right on Kenyon, left on 11th to see BloomBars just past Wonderland
