Join us for an evening of crocheting simple projects that make a big difference in the lives of others - hats and scarves for DC's homeless, and baby blankets for a local crisis pregnancy center.
Please bring your own yarn and crochet hook suited to whichever project you'll be making. Here are some patterns we love:
Easy hat pattern
Easy scarf pattern
Easy baby blanket pattern
Q: Will there be snacks?
Q: What if I don't know how to crochet?
A: Not a problem - we can teach you! If you're brand new to crochet, sign up for one of our "learn to crochet" events for a full introduction (trust us, it's easier than it looks). If you just need a refresher, come to one of our standard meetups and we'll get you on the right track.
Q: I'm a knitter - can I still participate?
A: Absolutely! Experienced knitters are more than welcome.
Q: I can't make the meetup, but I'd love to donate items I made on my own time. Can I do that?
A: We would be delighted to help get your creations to those in need. You are welcome to drop off items during a meetup, or send me a message and we can work something out.
Q: How can I follow DC Charity Crochet Circle on social media?
A: Follow us on Instagram @charitycrochetcircle for inspo, event photos, and more!
