Community managers and strategists in the DC area, unite! Why should SF and NYC have all the fun?

This group welcomes both experienced and novice community builders. It exists so that we might share ideas and challenges, bring together peers from across the community space, and lift up the discourse of the field as a whole.

If you come from outside of the community field--e.g. social media marketing--you are welcome to join us, though we do ask that the focus remains on community.

Community Strategy Breakfast: Analytics, ROI, & Advocacy / Super User Programs

Join us over breakfast for a deeper dive into two topics suggested at our last event at The World Bank in January: -Measuring and communicating community impact and value -Expanding and deepening member engagement via super user and advocacy programs Bill Johnston, founder and Chief Community Officer at Structure3C (and former community lead at Dell and Autodesk), will share highlights from Structure3C's latest research into industry best practices and future models for reporting on community value and ROI. We'll then facilitate a discussion on opportunities to align and evolve Advocate / MVP programs, social media and community “influencer” programs, and community leadership and reputation models. A light breakfast will be provided, so just bring yourselves, your IDs (for checking in at WeWork), your expertise and questions. Please note this session is intended for community practitioners at brands and organizations, and as space is limited, we ask that no more than 2 staff from a single organization attend.
