This is our winter shorter local hike series. We want stay active, fit and healthy.
This out and back trail is along the beautiful Potomac River. The route offers river views, wild life, rolling hills and some creek crossing.
Total miles: 6-8M
Shorter/Bailout: Any time turn back since it's an Out n Back Route.
Terrence: Some of the section is rocky, muddy.
Please wear sturdy boots and gloves, dress in layers.

Car pool: please use comment area to coordinate. You are responsible of finding a ride or your way from metro to get to the trailhead.
Trailhead: Fort Marcy Park. Free parking
GPS:[masked], -77.125341. Please access it from GW PKWY North bound.
Drivers can only reach the trailhead from the northbound lanes of the George Washington Memorial Parkway.
Hike starts at the trail head at 9:00am.
Nearest metro: Roslyn metro.
Carpool: Roosevelt Island at 8:40am. Please comment if you need a ride. Suggested Mins carpool fees: $1/pp
