Apply to present or judge at this year's Health Datapalooza, an annual Health conference held as part of US CTO Todd Park's 'data liberacion' fest. Last year attendees included over 450 leaders from the White House, federal agencies, investment and venture capital sectors, academia, social sectors, public health communities, information technology firms, business, and health care delivery systems. The deadline for applications is March 30th.
The goal of the Health Datapalooza is to showcase the best and brightest new applications using data from government and other sources. Innovators will present their technologies to the audience, describing how it uses health data and makes a meaningful impact on health. The very best new applications will be featured at the Forum on the main stage, in breakout sessions, or in an expanded exhibit hall.
100 Day Innovation Challenge
In support of our aim to stimulate the digital health ecosystem we’re excited to officially announce the launch of the "100 Day Innovation Challenge." We're asking established health system stakeholders such as payors and providers (also known as "Hosts") to pair up with companies developing new and interesting technologies (also known as "Innovators") for this innovative competition.
The best pilots, agreements and ventures started over the next 100 days (including those kicked off at Social Media Week New York) will get a free pass and be showcased at Health 2.0's Matchpoint Boston event, to be held on May 14 and 15, 2012. The deadline for projects is April 16th.
