Happy Saturday, Flacks!

I've got two job openings to share with you this weekend; one requires that you move to Boston and the other is seeking a Web professional with stellar management skills.

Fidelity Investments (Boston)

It will support the Executive Vice President and entire group in communicating internally and to clients, help business units communicate to clients and customers on policy related matters, and support the government relations team in communicating to external opinion leaders. The position will be primarily responsible for executive communications: developing a range of materials from high-level visual concepts (PowerPoint) to more narrative public-policy related communications. The position will also help deliver consistency across various documents used by the group. Undergraduate degree in relevant field and 5-10 years of post-college work experience required. Interested candidates should send a resume and coverletter to peter.fuvich (at) fmr (dot) com.

And don't forget, August marks DC Flacks' one-year anniversary! Our celebratory happy hour promises to be something special. We're joining forces with Washington Women in Pubic Relations to toast a full year of DC-area PR and communications pros meeting up, talking to strangers and sharing beverages! We'll be celebrating on Monday, August 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Cedar, just a few blocks from our usual location. Note the change of venue! RSVP today!

Have a great weekend!
