The Senior Designer serves as the principle creative lead responsible for directing all phases of creative work for assigned accounts. From concept development through production, the Senior Designer is responsible for ensuring the projects under his or her direction reflect creative work of the highest caliber. The right candidate will be expected to inspire and motivate their design team. The ideal candidate fills in the gaps between graphic design and user experience, demonstrating expertise in a variety of digital design and interface approaches for web, social and mobile platforms.

Core Duties/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating on-brand, on-strategy compelling creative work for assigned clients
• Responsible for mentoring and leading assigned creative staff and being available to critique their work to maintain consistent creative quality and award winning work
• Draft information architecture, visual design assets, and drive user experience design
• Works closely with development team to ensure proper implementation of designs and creative functionality to ensure adequate retention of user experience
• Actively participates in assigned new business development efforts, leading creative teams and developing client response materials
• Works directly with client managers, project managers, user experience leads, and technical directors on assigned projects
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
• At least 5+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or Digital Media Design
• Recognized expertise developing strategic creative solutions from concept to production for a variety of clients
• Experience with user-centric design and translating business requirements to site maps, task flows, navigation flows, and wireframes.
• Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Recognized expertise in web/online/interactive design, with expert knowledge of the design programs required for that discipline. 

• Solid knowledge of steps required in creative development process: provides guidance to achieve creative direction; gives timely and helpful coaching; and produces all work in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Prior experience with responsive design and mobile design is a plus
• Strong people management and coaching skills to provide clear creative direction and to motivate and inspire creative teams
• Significant brand-building experience including concept development
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills which foster and develop existing and new client relationships
• Strong Client Management skills
• Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
• Demonstrated experience within fast-paced environments
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
