    MANNA is hosting a Housing Fair and Town Hall on Saturday, May 11th from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. The first two hours of the program will consist of resource tables and workshops on a variety of subjects including: -credit building -legal estate planning -down payment assistance -DC property tax programs -advocacy -home maintenance -affordable homes -utility costs -housing assistance programs (including NeighborhoodLIFT) -Mayor Bowser's housing budget proposal The Town Hall (from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM) will include hearing guest speakers discuss housing issues, upcoming advocacy opportunities, and time allotted for DC residents to discuss housing programs/issues/topics that matter to them.     Join us on Wednesday, November 14th for a networking happy hour with MANNA Young Professionals and Habitat Young Professionals of Washington DC. MANNA has worked alongside DC Habitat in Ivy City for the last several years. Come get to know other mission-minded young professionals, and enjoy extended happy hour prices through 9PM! 10% of the proceeds will go towards affordable housing in the District.

On Wednesday, November 7th at 6:00 PM, MANNA will be celebrating its 23rd Annual Friends of Manna Reception at the First Congregational Church at 945 G St NW. Our goal is to raise $150,000 for affordable housing in the District. Please come and support affordable housing in DC while bidding on great prizes, enjoying wonderful food, and meeting fellow supporters of affordable housing. Public Transportation: Two blocks from Gallery Place / Chinatown Station (Green/Yellow/Red Lines), Two blocks from Metro Center Station (Blue/Silver/Orange/Red Lines) Parking: Parking is available beneath the First Congregational Church for a fee.     Madam’s Organ will be hosting MANNA on Thursday, 7/19, for our nonprofit happy hour at[masked]th St NW. $1 from every item sold between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the bar will be donated towards affordable housing in the District. We hope this charity happy hour will help spread our mission and message to young professionals in the nation’s capital who may not be aware of the housing issues facing the DC population.
