We will travel to the Garden State for some sightseeing and great food in two of their most popular cities: Jersey City and Hoboken.
We will take the train from Manhattan and venture to Jersey City to eat brunch at Madame Claude Café. Madame Claude Café is a French bistro with an affordable brunch menu and serves a variety of eggs, omelettes, crepes, sandwiches, and croissants. Prices ranges from $5 to $13.
We will then take the train to Hoboken and take in spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline from Castle Point Lookout as well as other parks located along the Hudson River.
We will eat dinner at Cucharamama, a Latin American restaurant in Hoboken that is known for serving excellent South American cuisine. Some of their popular dished include Chilean Beef and Chicken Potpie, Peruvian-Style Roast Leg, Roasted Salmon with Catalan Sauce, and Grilled Duck Breast. Average dish range from $10 to $26.
Very Important Note: Madame Claude Café only accepts cash and does not accept credit cards. Be sure to bring cash for our first restaurant.

-We will meet at Union Station at 7:45AM. The exact meeting point at Union Station will be given in an e-mail one week before the date of the trip.
-We will be traveling to New York through the Megabus service. Tickets can be purchased online at www.megabus.com (http://www.megabus.com/) ($48 - $65 average for round trip). Members are also welcome to choose any bus service of their choice. Union Station offers a variety of transportation options such as Greyhound, BoltBus, and PeterPan.
-When entering website, schedule bus trip for 8:00AM - 12:40PM (Depart to New York), and schedule the return trip for 9:00PM - 1:15AM (Return to DC). The date of the trip is Saturday, March 15, 2014. Please be sure to enter information correctly, as Megabus does not refund tickets; however, they will allow you to reschedule trip 24 hours prior to the scheduled trip date.
-Union Station is located at 50 Massachusetts Avenue, NE Washington, DC. Union Station is also Metro accessible on the Red Line at the Union Station Metro Station. Parking at Union Station is available at their parking garage; however, the maximum cost is $22.00 for one day parking.
