    Meeting Abstract

We are very happy to have a great speaker join our Meetup this month, Greg Howard, who will present us with an overview of the most popular scaled agile "methodologies" available.

Scaling agile becomes a very hot topic as organizations face pressures to increase speed of value delivery to customers and stay innovative and competitive in an ever changing marketplace. Mr. Howard offers us a pragmatic overview of the various scaled agile “methodologies” that have been developed in the last few years, including, among others, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)  and Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD).

Agile scaling will be presented within an organizational change management perspective where tailoring is key to a successful implementation. Understanding an organization’s needs becomes critical to optimally assess the various approaches and find the one(s) that best fit. Mr. Howard will discuss the complementarity of these approaches that can help provide a tailored solution to a wide range of challenges and issue within an organization when attempting to scale agile to deliver value to the customer, more quickly and with higher quality.
