Greetings all.  The film “42” is playing this Sunday at the Century Stadium 25 in Orange (1701 W. Katella Ave. - just east of Highway 57).  The start time is 2:50 PM.  My plan is to do the following:

- Pre movie meet and greet at Starbucks (1627 West Katella)

-  Post movie dinner and film discussion at Acapulco Mexican Restaurant (1535 West Katella)

This will be fun if you can join us.

42 (film)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

42 is a 2013 biographical film written and directed by Brian Helgeland about the life of baseball player Jackie Robinson. The film stars Chadwick Boseman as Robinson,[2] Harrison Ford as Branch Rickey, Christopher Meloni as Leo Durocher, John C. McGinley as Red Barber, T. R. Knight as Harold Parrott, Lucas Black as Pee Wee Reese and Nicole Beharie as Rachel Isum.[3][4] 42 is scheduled to be released in North America on April 12, 2013.[5]
The film tells the life story of Jackie Robinson (Chadwick Boseman) and, under the guidance of team executive Branch Rickey (Harrison Ford), Robinson's signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers to become the first African-American player to break the baseball color line.

A very good film followed by a great discussion over dinner. Enjoyed meeting and sharing with the others who attended.
