We'll kick the new year off with the reading of very old times, "The Woman Who Would Be King: Hatshepsut's Rise to Power in Ancient Egypt" by Kara Cooney. Aa Goodreads describes it, "An engrossing biography of the longest-reigning female pharaoh in Ancient Egypt and the story of her audacious rise to power in a man’s world." I'm happy to say that this was another suggestion from a Meetup member. Keep the suggestions coming.
