Get ready for the LGBTQ+ Community Social! We will gather at the Embassy Row Hotel's unique and spacious Station Kitchen & Cocktails lounge. It's a fun place to gather. You are welcome regardless of where you live. Bring friends and meet new people. This is the place to be that evening. Embassy Row Hotel is located two blocks away from Dupont Circle Metro in Washington DC. It flies the rainbow flag! The Station Kitchen & Cocktails lounge is located to the right as you enter the the main lobby of the hotel. This LGBTQ+ and Allies community-wide social provides everyone a chance to mingle, socialize and share community spirit in a splendid setting. This free social is officially hosted by Go Gay DC - Metro DC's LGBTQ+ Community Hub (http://www.gogaydc.org/). TJ Flavell (http://www.tjflavell.com) will be there to greet you. All your friends are welcome. There will be a free door prize raffle. 100 fabulous people from all over the world are expected. Name tags will be provided. It's FREE to attend; cash bar. This event is the Chamber’s most popular and longest running event. We have had over 90 people attend recent NT events. Normal attendance is between 60 and 80 people. 1. Make new connections, meet new people and build relationships. 2. Identify potential new clients & customers, and those who can refer you to them. 3. Discover great ideas for changes, expansions even new directions for your business. 4. Find potential joint ventures, partnerships and strategic alliances. 5. Make great new friends who have the entrepreneurial spirit you love. CAGLCC, the Capital Area's LGBT Chamber of Commerce is the nonprofit, nonpartisan, mostly-volunteer network of nearly 3,000 lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and ally professionals who own or are employed by businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland. AGLA is reviving its monthly brunch event. We will gather monthly on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 11am to 1pm at Freddie's Beach Bar & Restaurant (http://www.freddiesbeachbar.com/). Freddie has graciously reserved the heated patio. Freddie's Saturday brunch is quite the deal and very delicious. Saturday breakfast buffet is now only $14.99 and comes with one glass of champagne or coffee, soda or juice. Each additional champagne is $2. Not a breakfast food person, you can always order off the regular menu. All are welcome to join us regardless of whether you are an AGLA member or a resident of Arlington. Bring a friend, enjoy the great food and drink, meet new people, and catch up with old friends you have not seen in a while. Crystal City Metro is the closest Metro stop. When you arrive and exit the fare card reader, go up the first escalator and enter the glass doors on your left. Walk through the underground shops to 23rd St, turn right and cross Eads and walk about a block up. Freddie's is on the right. AGLA is a strong beacon for equality in Northern Virginia. It's an inclusive nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit open to all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning (LGBTQ) people and straight allies.
