DC Spotter

I would like to apologize for the actions of one Charles Grant and his email spamming. I called him and let him know that this is not appropriate and he will be kicked out of the group.

I work overtime to make sure that DC Spotter is not a "get rich fast scheme", email blasting service, sell a book, self help Meet Up. There are plenty of them and please go join those if that is what you are looking for. For those that have made it to a meeting you have seen first hand that this is a group with no hidden agendas, where entreprenuers or soon to be entreprenuers can come together in a forum to communicate, share, add value, etc. And if you have not made a meeting, I encourage you to come. I beleive you will be pleased with how the group functions. DC SPOTTER IS NOT FOR SELLING THINGS. IT IS FOR FORMING RELATIONSHIPS AND IDEA SHARING. Many of us work way too hard (for no money) to organize this and do not want it to be ruined by individuals with hidden agendas. If you have them do all of us a favor and leave the group. If you mass email the group for books you are selling, get rich programs, etc you will be kicked out of the group and not allowed back in.

Becuase this seems to happen about once a month, I am going to turn off the email function of the group. If you would like to send an email to the group there are now two ways to do it (1) Email me and I will forward it to the group on your behalf (2) Come to a meeting and meet people. I was hoping to not have to do this but in order to protect the integrity of the group, I think it is appropriate.

Again, I apologize for Charles Grant sending all of those emails (he obviously also doesnt understand that when you email to [address removed], it goes to the entire group...Hey Charles...great job of making sure no one uses your product or service).

If you do have a service or something to sell, try coming to a meeting first, get to know people, form a relationship, add some value and maybe you'll sell something. Its business 101.

Again, if your intentions of being in DC Spotter are to mass market your services or products by email blasting, leave.
