Italian Brunch @ Lavagna DC

Lavagna

Voted Best in D.C. four years in a row, Lavagna definitely has a menu worth exploring. Located in Barracks Row, the restaurant boasts some very healthy options for those of us still working on our summer bodies (for 2020). The menu price range is fairly moderate ($5-$19 plates unless ordering lobster $23). Parking is not the most convenient, so leave time to walk. Arrivederci! https://www.lavagnadc.com

SUNDAY: Persian menu with R&B Brunch @ Tavern

LIBRARY TAVERN

I know I don't usually do Sunday brunch, but this one looks too cool to miss. Menu is reasonably priced from $3-$19. It's located in NW so parking may not be convenient. Plan accordingly. DMV 30 Somethings is hosting event. Here's the blurb from Eventbrite site: Brunch + R&B Every Sunday in Uptown DC! Join DMV 30 Somethings weekly for neighborhood R&B Brunch vibes at Library Tavern! Groove to the music genre we all know and love with $3 mimosas, $35 champagne bottle specials, and full bar available. American Southern @ Succotash National Harbor

SUCCOTASH

The menu alone makes me salivate- chicken and waffles, collard greens, shrimp and grits, biscuits and gravy and the list goes on! It's located in the National Harbor, so parking is ample and you can even visit the casino to walk off the brunch afterwards. Price range is $4-$23. https://succotashrestaurant.com Let's go!

Busboys and Poets @ Hyattsville

Busboys and Poets

My favorite, favorite, favorite place for brunch! The pic I use for this group was even taken there. I always go for the French toast, home fries, vegan sausage and Pomegranate mimosa. It's located within a shopping center, so parking is a breeze. Menu prices are quite reasonable from$5- $20. https://www.busboysandpoets.com/locations/?location=hyattsville&venue=hyattsville
