Hey there! I'm very excited to announce that Across The Board Cafe is looking to host a regular Dungeons and Dragons night at their location on Bannatyne (in the McKim building). It will likely be Thursday nights from 6-10PM on a weekly basis starting on April 19th. I'm going to make a Meetup date for us to get a feel for how many people may want to attend. But the intent is to have DM's run tables for anyone who registers. The pieces of our puzzle are: How many DM's can we get to run tables & and how many players would show up? Olaf, the owner of ATBC has offered to compensate all DM's in the form of Free Entry, a Free Meal, and Free Drinks (within reason) All players would be subject to the normal $6 entry fee, but we are also toying with the idea of giving newcomers the opportunity to buy a ticket that will also get you the D&D Starter Kit which includes a set of dice, the basic rules set, pre-generated character sheets, and the WOTC Published adventure: Lost Mines of Phandelver. We need players to attend of course, but most of all we need DM's of all experience and comfort levels. So if you'd like to DM let me know what you would prefer to do: DM solely for friends that you know. DM for both your friends and newcomers. DM for solely Newcomers with D&D experience DM for Newcomers who have never played before with pre-generated characters and published one-shot material to help them learn the game. We need your help to make this a success, to keep our beloved game and hobby community grow as a result of us playing some Dungeons and Dragons! Any thoughts, suggestions, concerns feel free to email me or message me and I'd be happy to answer :) Thanks for your time! Cameron Scott Henderson

Come out for a fun afternoon of D&D. We have a DM and a few players. We're just looking for some more. Free coffee and cookies will be available. The event is in a banquet hall. There is lots of space.
