We'll learn and practice Leave No Trace ethics, how to prepare meals in the backcountry, filter water, make fire and do it along side our favorite outdoor backcountry women! Grab your boots, your best friends and let us know what equipment you need. We will limit this to a small rad group so sign up today. DNK Presents will provide meals, water filteration systems, trowels, etc. Rental gear is available on a first come first serve basis, if you need/want gear sign up ASAP!

  • Wild Women's Hike Eagle Creek

We’ll take a roughly 3-4 mile hike, there will be less than 400 ft. of elevation gain and loss, with rocky and rooty terrain in places. Please dress for the weather including comfortable shoes, and bring water or snacks if you need them. There is a fee to get into Eagle Creek Park, $5 for Marion county residents and $6 for out of county residents. You can also buy an annual pass $50 for in Marion county and $60 for out of county. We hope you will join us for this hike in one of our favorite parks in Indianapolis! Meeting location: Parking lot at “The Beach” – if you enter from the 56th street gate take your first left and drive all the way down, we’ll meet at the shelter house

This trip is for those who are really new to camping, hiking and backpacking. This trip is very beginner friendly but at the same time will give you a good taste of what backpacking and roughing it is really like! We will hike along the backpacking trail a moderate 2.5 miles, to the backcountry area, set up camp, learn how to filter water, cook in the backcountry, hang food, learn the principles of Leave No Trace and so much more! After the weekend you will feel more confident to take on your next adventure and live a life filled with adventure!

  • Advanced Women's Backpacking Tecumseh Trail

    Get all the details and sign up here: https://dnkpresents.com/event/wild-womens-advanced-backpacking/ Join DNK Presents as we take you on the first women’s only guided trip of the entire Tecumseh Trail in Central Indiana. The entire Tecumseh Trail is 42 miles that begins in Morgan-Monroe State Forest and ends on the southern boarder of Yellowwood State Forest and where Hoosier National Forest begins. We will arrange shuttles to drive you to your vehicles when you finish the trip. Depending on the day you will hike approximately 8-12 miles each day to complete the trip on Sunday June 23rd. The terrain is rugged and there are severe elevation gains and losses as well as creek crossings.

You will be coached by certified mountain bike instructors who know how to meet you where you are in your mountain bike journey. Accommodations: There are several options to choose from at The Bike Farm. Check out their Camping and Glamping sites and book today! Meals: You can purchase a meal plan for $100. If you don't want to worry about prepping meals during the camp weekend, this is a great option for you! Simply add the meal plan to your cart. What to wear: If you have mountain bike padded shorts, please wear them, your bum will thank you! If you do not have padded shorts look into investing in some or wear shorts, leggings or comfortable pants (not really baggy) that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty or wearing for several hours on your bike. Look at the forecast, wear and bring layers, rain gear, and extra dry clothes just in case.
