Welcome to Divorce and Relationship Recovery Castro Valley. This is one of several no-charge, weekly information/support communities intended for anyone dealing with separation, divorce, or other relationship challenges or losses.
Our meetings take place on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 pm at Redwood Chapel, at 19300 Redwood Road in Castro Valley.
During the first part of each weekly meeting, we view a video or hear from a live expert on some topic related to the divorce/separation/loss experience. The second part of each meeting will include supportive, confidential smaller group time, to reflect on what we've learned and what we're dealing with.
We help people through the emotional, spiritual, psychological, legal, financial, health and child-related issues related to divorce and broken relationships. We welcome everyone, without regard to circumstances, timeline or faith background.
We use many of the same materials as in our other communities, including books and videos from psychologists Dr. Henry Cloud and John Townsend ("Boundaries," "Changes that Heal." "Safe People"), Andy Stanley ("Starting Over," "The New Rules for Love, Sex and Dating") and other experts. Between these and other video series, live speakers will include psychologists, therapists, and attorneys presenting practical, actionable information to heal and begin putting your life together again.
There are no fees or registration or membership requirements. With a free Meetup account, you are welcome to join our online group, which will provide additional information about our group and our events. We hope to see you soon at one of our meetings!

We'd love to see you at any of our meetings. We welcome everyone dealing with divorce or other relationship struggles, or wanting to learn healthy relationship skills. The main parts of our weekly meetings are a video or guest speaker, and time for discussion and confidential sharing and support. You are welcome without regard to relationship status, timeline or background. We appreciate RSVPs on Meetup, but you are welcome to visit without RSVPing!
