What we're about

Hi everyone! This is a meetup for people who want to talk about their sex life, intimacy issues, or similar relationship-related issues. There are millions of married or committed people that aren't comfortable talking openly about sex and intimacy with their spouses or partners because it can be incredibly frightening to show such vulnerability and transparency and possibly damage the relationship altogether. It can also be intimidating to open up to a close friend for fear of alienating your friendship, risking being judged, and not knowing if they will keep it confidential. This meetup is about bringing people together who need a safe, non-judgmental environment to talk about their sex life and other related issues. Sharing and connecting with others who have a mutual interest can be cathartic and liberating on its own, especially if it has been bottling up and causing you to feel isolated and alone. You are not alone!

We will be sharing tips and guidance on how to navigate your situation, points of view from the opposite sex, recommended reading from well-known authors and perhaps sharing some professional resources (if you're interested), and most importantly lending a compassionate, listening ear - all depending on what your situation is. The meetup will be held on weeknights in case you need to disguise your attendance from your spouse/partner as a business dinner or happy hour.

It is absolutely critical that this is a SAFE, nurturing environment. This is NOT a forum for hookups or making advances on others. Anyone reported to be making unwanted advances through Meetup or at any of the events/meetings will be asked to leave and removed as a member from the group. We do ask that you come with an open mind and open heart as there are an infinite amount of different scenarios under which people live that might not be similar to yours, but they are nonetheless needing a place to find connection and refuge. Thanks and be blessed, everyone.
