I signed up for the webinar but I haven't received an email with a link to get into the GoToWebinar site. Although I did receive confirmation of payment from the UXPA site.

Any suggestions as to who I contact since the webinar starts in less than an hour?

Subject: [DallasUX] Online Webinar for UXPA on Wednesday.Picasso on Saturday

Hello --
I wanted to let you know about this upcoming UXPA webinar, which is this Wednesday.  I have seen this talk at another conference.  It is awesome!
10 Commandments of UX Strategy
Do you believe that UX strategy is inherently different from other UX/CX/IA/SD/XD research, design, and evaluation work? Or is it a combination of all of these? Or perhaps an umbrella that covers all of them? Or that UX strategy is really just product strategy?
Originally presented at the first UXSTRAT conference , Ronnie Battista attempts to outline a framework of what should be considered "UX Strategy" - an emerging area within UX that lacks an agreed definition.  In its absence, Ronnie will present what he believes are the fundamental "Commandments" of what must be considered when considering UX Strategy.
What participants can expect:
  • Food for thought – Do the Commandments align with your view of UX Strategy?
  • An invitation to join the conversation
  • Thinking that you can apply to your company

Speaker Biography

Ronnie Battista

Practice Lead, User Experience
Slalom Consulting

Ronnie is a senior executive with over 18 years experience visioning and delivering creative and profitable cross-channel interactive experiences with bottom line impact. Early in his career as a Business Analyst, his project experiences highlighted a gap between what Business and IT groups were asking for and what customers and employees actually needed or wanted.  It was at this critical junction of Business, IT and real human beings that Ronnie found his calling in User Experience Design.

He has provided experience design leadership to over 120 clients from C-suite strategic and team tactical level. In addition to co-creating the Rutgers Mini-Masters in User Experience Design (where he is both Program Director and Lead Adjunct Professor), Ronnie works directly with corporations to help train their personnel on UXD and Experience Design Strategy.
