What are some of your favorite topics in this area?

Composting, soil bacteria, beneficial insects, complementary planting

Do you currently grow things or are you planning to grow something in the near future?

Yes. I have 4 Topsy Turvies, 2 raised bed planters, half a dozen potted plants, and 3 small vegetable patches. Some are behind the warehouse at work, and the others surround my apartment.

To what extent does self-sufficiency relate to your interest in this subject? (e.g., Very much, Moderately, Not At All)

Very much - I'm trying to grow more of my own food, and I work at a gardening supply company that helps other people accomplish the same goal.

I'm always working to learn more about sustainable gardening, and I've been told that there's a really good vibe in this meetup.

What George is saying about this Meetup Group

Good exchange of ideas, and some amazingly well informed brains to pick.
