This free meditation meetup will run from 7:00pm until 8pm. This is a simple guided meditation all done while sitting in the comfort of a chair. The purpose of this meditation is to create a state of mental silence. The benefits of a meditation are numerous. Some of the benefits include inner peace, happiness, clarity, improved focus, stress reduction, relaxation and improved physical health. The meetup will be held in conference room 103 in Warner Hall which is part of WCSU midtown campus. The meetup usually consist of three parts. We start with some breathing mudras(see pages for info). The second and main part is the meditation which is a very simple and pleasant guided meditation. The third part consists of inner ways to enhance the meditation practice through thought and speech. The Mudras take about 8-12 minutes, the meditation 25-35 minutes, and the third part about 5 to 10 minutes.
