• Doggie POOL-ooza 2017 - TWO Day Event

    Cucamonga Guasti Regional Park

It's that time of the year again - a chance to let your Dane play in the water without going to the beach! We always have lots of Danes attending, but not all at the same day & time, so to meetup with others you may want to make a comment below which day and approximate time you plan to be there. As the dog days of summer come to an end and the summer swim season closes, San Bernardino County Regional Parks host its annual dog party at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario. During this annual event owners can bring their four legged pals who have had to endure the summer in a fur coat, for a dip in the cool pool. In addition to the pool, the event hosts a Doggie Swimsuit Competition, a Owner/Dog Look-a-Like contest, Top Dog Talent Show, Li’l Dog Races and so much more! $5 per person; $1 per dog. For more info call the San Bernardino Regional Parks Department at (909)[masked]

  • Playa Vista Dog Park

    Playa Vista Dog Park

We have many members on the west side, so let's see if there is any interest of having meetups there. This park has sections for small and medium/big dogs, water fountains, some areas are artificial grass, some covered with wood chips, with paved paths in between. And from what I can see on one of the photos, there's a little "creek" running through the park as well. As always, I'm posting this for the group. My girls and I won't be there as we now live 2 hrs+ from LA. If someone would like to host this meetup, please, let me know. Also, the starting time can be changed, if needed. HAVE FUN! It has pretty good reviews: https://www.yelp.com/biz/playa-vista-dog-park-playa-vista

Summer is here, temps are up and the dog beach is THE spot for Danes to meet! Have fun, everyone!.... We meet south (east) of the tower #26. The closest parking is the northernmost parking lot of Goldenwest St. (or the 1st lot south from Seapoint St.) Click on the map to see the spot. Once you walk dawn the ramp to the beach, turn left towards the pier and look for the big dogs. We will be a 100+ yards ahead. Parking is $1.50/hour and sometimes hard to find right away, but the line moves rather quickly...well, most of the time anyway... )) Quarters and credit cards are accepted. Please, bring plenty of water for your dogs and yourself.

  • White Oak Dog Park

    Sepulveda Basin Dog Park

Bring your pups to run, play and get tired - it's a GREAT park for DANES! White Oak dog park offers grassy grounds (maybe not that green right now :), shady trees, picnic tables and chairs and several water fountains in the big dog area, free parking, plus a wash off station to clean your dog after play. We meet in the big dog section, on the west side of the park. *** There is no need to RSVP "NO" *** for this or any other of our meetups UNLESS you’re making a comment along with it, or simply changing your "yes" to "no". Your comments are always appreciated, as they tell me you are otherwise interested in the venue or activity, and this does help me plan our future meetups. Otherwise, if you are not saying "yes", it is perfectly understood you’re not coming. THANK YOU

  • Runyon Canyon Dog Park + Hike

    Runyan Canyon Dog Park

Hey guys, I got invited to a play date then pack walk up in the mountains of Los Angeles and I'm extending it to all of you guys. Never been, but it sounds like fun. If any of you guys get lost here's my number[masked]. This Sunday we start off with the dog park and let everyone meet each other and wait for any late comers and get the dogs tired. Afterwards at 12 we are heading out to an off leash hike around to see the sights. Sounds like a fun, exhausting time for the dogs.
