Welcome to a magical place of waves, stunning views of Strait of Juan de Fuca, Mt. Baker, Victoria, Anacortes, Protection Island, and Whidbey Island. Enjoy fabulous sunrises and sunsets, the light from the Dungeness Spit Lighthouse, and the lights from Cape George and Whidbey Island. Star gaze from the deck as there are no street lights to interfere. The Olympic Peninsula near Sequim is a tranquil place to renew your spirit. Retreats here are about connecting to nature and to each other (small groups allow deeper connections to blossom) as well as physical and spiritual renewal. ***There is easily room for eight to overnight, a fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds and chairs. Upstairs master has a cushy king bed and pullout queen. Enjoy the views all night as well as the sound of waves. The smaller room has a queen bed. There are cots and couches downstairs = all with a view. ***There are many local activities such as wineries, Port Townsend is a quaint town, Hurricane Ridge is spectacular and 75 minutes from here. Lots of hiking, and the ocean beaches are about two hours away. Lake Crescent is less than an hour. It is also a good base camp for snowshoeing and backpacking. It is a place to enjoy discussions and develop friendships. We offer different styles of yoga depending on who is instructing that weekend. We prepare healthy, delicious meals. ***$150 deposit to get on the list to go; $125 one week prior to event. Please pay via Paypal or Venmo - contact me if you are 100% sure you are in so I can provide the way to do that. We provide five healthy vegetarian meals, snacks, and drinks (including wine and beer - not so healthy but some people like it - also meat or seafood on the side - advise dietary restrictions - will do our best to accommodate). We also provide costs of the house including wood for fires. Four sessions of yoga, at least one outdoor adventure = hiking, snowshoeing, forest healing session, two sessions of meditation = guided and solo. We will likely also have a group self-hypnosis session. You can join all activities or be on your own between yoga sessions. Enjoy reading on the deck, etc. Evening yoga will be a bit more about relaxing and stretching muscles with daytime sessions being more active. If we can't do yoga on deck due to weather, be aware we will be inside on carpet. If you are looking for the primo yoga studio environment, this is not it. If you are looking for great social aspects with fitness and meditation, this is more for you. ***Comment with Carpooling Needs: We aren't responsible for getting you to the house, but we will all carpool to activities once you arrive. We will do our best to help you connect with people. Please share ferry and gas costs with your driver. I will provide itineraries and directions with address one week prior to event - upon full payment. ***Your yoga instructor: Audra Sanderhoff - years of experience as a certified yoga instructor and freshly back from more training in India and Thailand. She is also a licensed hypnotherapist and certified massage therapist.
