There is a course coming up on Hadley Wickham's popular ggplot visualization package in R, in Redwood city. It is taught by the ggplot developers themselves. I am helping promoting the event.

This was an outstanding presentation - very thoughtful, and very useful. Got me thinking about some good things. Audience was attentive and polite, because the speaker - Kiwi accent and all - carried the day. It made me want follow-up. The venue was too hot and crowded, but that's just an observation not a complaint. My hat is off to the organizers and the speaker.

Stating rules and what tools people should use along with random opinions without any solid examples to back such rules is an ineffective way to educate, inspire and enrich peoples knowledge. Should have used a case study for how you used R and other tools in a challenging project to show the process, methodologies and final outcome while sharing examples along the way.

Learned a lot of new tools to try out- found it to be quite informative.

That address is not Code for America. Can you please correct the company's name that's hosting this? Thanks!

    Hi everyone,

There are two meetups going on where Dr Hadley Wickham is speaking:
    1. If you're interested in data visualization and understanding ggplot - 2. This one is on Data Analysis. We've already done a basic R workshop so will be of a higher level.
