The Data Science Association (http://www.datascienceassn.org/) is pleased to announce the Data Science Forum and Vail Ski Retreat (http://www.datascienceassn.org/content/data-science-forum-vail-ski-retreat-april-11-13-2014), to be held 11-13 April 2014 in Vail Colorado (http://www.vail.com/) at the Vail Tivoli (http://tivolilodge.com/). REGISTER NOW (http://www.datascienceassn.org/node/add/vail2014reg) for a tax deductible professional forum and retreat. As an international event, this is a unique opportunity for professionals, academics and students to hear the latest data science findings and network. The overall theme for the conference is Predictive Analytics.

AGENDA - Data Science Forum & Vail Ski Retreat - April 11-13, 2014

Saturday April 12, 2014 at Vail Tivoli Lodge

4:00pm - 5:30pm MDT - Reception (Live Music; Drinks; Light Appetizers)

5:30pm - 7:30pm MDT - Presentations (10 minute presentations)

All are encouraged to provide a 10 minute presentation on any topic
desired. Recording and posted on YouTube. You may but are not required
to follow-up with a four (4) page paper to be published in the
International Journal of Data Science.

Registration Fee: $30.00 per person - Note: Registration fee waived if
staying overnight at Tivoli.

April 11-13 is Spring Back to Vail (http://www.vail.com/events/springback.aspx) weekend - the biggest end-of-season bash in the Rocky Mountains! Free live concerts, the infamous World Pond Skimming Championships, après after-dark parties and base area giveaways.

You also have the option of publishing a professional paper in the International Journal of Data Science (http://www.datascienceassn.org/content/international-journal-data-science-call-papers) and/or providing a 20 minute presentation in Vail. The International Journal of Data Science is calling for data science related papers. Submit on or before April 11, 2014. Email in regular .pdf format or LaTeX .pdf format to: [masked].

You can ski (http://www.vail.com/) during the day and conference/network in the morning and night. The snow is great and plentiful this year and the gondola and ski lifts within a stones throw of hotel. That weekend in Vail there is scheduled a number of free outdoor concerts. Other activities include cross country skiing - snowmobiling - dog sledding - sleigh rides - snow tubing - snowshoeing - ski bikes - ice skating - swimming and ice climbing.
