What is the human-centric approach to personal data? How does global initiative put individuals in control of their own data and what are the benefits that individuals, companies or governments get? What does Fair Data Economy mean and how does it apply to our reality?
Karolina Mackiewicz from MyData Global will hold an informal meetup for Georgian data community on Friday, July 19, at 7:30.
MyData Global is the network of entrepreneurs, activists, academics, listed corporations, public agencies, and developers sharing a common goal: to empower individuals with their personal data, thus helping them and their communities develop knowledge, make informed decisions, and interact more consciously and efficiently with each other as well as with organisations.
Karolina Mackiewicz is a Polish project manager living and working in Finland since 2009. She joined MyData Global in January this year as an Events Lead and Project Manager for MyData 2019 conference - mydata2019.org Before MyData, Karolina worked for the European WHO Healthy Cities network, promoting cross-sectoral cooperation for health and wellbeing.
