What is your favorite tool for visualizing data?

I like many of the JS tools( D3, Chart, DataTables ) that have come out that make it easy to drop visualization/data navigation into an existing application.

Do you think data visualization is more of an art or more of a science? Why?

Its a combination of the two. The data you are trying to visualize may need a little more artistic inspiration to make it accessible or it might be pretty dense and need a data nerd to tear it apart. So...both.
