(We're investing a lot of time and effort building a great community here so it's important that we know at least a little bit about our members. Please answer all questions, even if briefly!). #1: Why are you interested in "the business of data"?

I think that an ability to effectively organize and draw insights from large databases is becoming increasingly important for employees as well as companies, who can use it as a competitive advantage to drive innovation and product improvements. Techniques for working with, understanding and drawing insight from data will only become more important as time goes on.

Where do you work (name of company, institution) or study (name of school) and what do you do?

Frenkel Benefits, a mid-size employee benefits consultancy. I am a data and financial analyst moving towards a role in strategy and operations. I work on the more complex financial and other analyses that our clients require and help to integrate the various functions to service our accounts without interruptions. I also work with our IT and database team on initiatives to improve the quality of our databases so that we can perform more analyses in order to refine our understanding of employee performance and revenue drivers.

Please confirm your first name AND last name (we must provide a full list to venue security prior to events; you will not be authorized into the building without this info and an ID)
