Join us on the evening of Tuesday, August 16th to talk about how data science can be used for social good.
We will be presenting two data-for-good projects that highlight the potential and pitfalls when working with data in the non-profit sector. The first project is a recent DataKind UK one where we worked with Shared Assets and the Ecological Land Cooperative to explore open data on land. The other is a project with Depaul UK, a homelessness charity, that tried to predict which of their beneficiaries are more likely to find employment.
After the talks please join us for drinks, snacks and data chats at The Last Bar at Athene Place, 73 Shoe Lane, London EC4A 3BQ.
We hope to see you there!
Big thank you to our wonderful host and sponsor Deloitte!
