  • This location is shown only to members

DataScience SG meetup is back for 2016!! For this meetup, we have two speakers. Below are the lineup for the first 2016 meetup.

6.45pm-7.15pm: Networking session [casual; small talk]

7.15pm-7.45pm: Pradeep Kumar Gupta, Nvidia [core; deep learning]

7.45pm - 8.15pm: Amit Kapoor, Data Storyteller, Narrativeviz Consulting [casual; visualization]

[] : Suggested rating and topic; ranges from:
newbie - casual - core - hardcore.

NVIDIA: In this talk, NVIDIA will be sharing on the trends in Machine Learning and GPU, Deep Learning case studies as well as NVIDIA’s Deep Learning platform (cuDNN and DIGITS).

Narrativeviz Consulting: Even though exploring data visually is an integral part of the data analytics pipeline, we struggle to visually explore data once the number of dimensions goes beyond three. This talk will focus on showcasing techniques to visually explore multidimensional data (p > 3). The aim is to show examples of each of the following techniques, potentially using one exemplar dataset.

The talk will also explore the role of interaction approaches to enhance our ability to visually explore the multidimensional data.

Speaker Bio
