Secure your relationship—or rediscover your love—with the secrets to more passion, intimacy, and playfulness! As you and your partner approach marriage, the best way to prepare for your future together is by learning the tools and skills that form the foundation of a successful long-term relationship. Or, maybe you and your partner have been together for several years now—and somehow, somewhere, despite your best intentions, the romance has faded. Maybe you find yourselves arguing a lot more than you used to, and being intimate a lot less. You used to reach for each other’s body again and again, but now you find yourselves arguing over and over—about the same old issues! Let’s get real. Everyone knows this, but no one’s saying it: relationships are hard work. That means you’re not alone. And it’s not your fault. Relationships take maintenance, and no one’s given you the manual. Until now. Here’s the good news: with the right skills and tools, you can have a relationship filled with passion, intimacy, spontaneity, and support. It’s absolutely possible for you to build a love that lasts—and we’re here to help! In Love Made Simple you’ll receive a map for creating a successful relationship, especially how to bring passion, intimacy, and ease to your love life. This is a hands-on workshop (with separate sub-tracks for either long-term or premarital couples) in which you’ll do practical exercises with your partner that are both fun and educational. Our approach is unique in that it brings the latest tools and methods in an experiential, enlivening, and engaging way. • Tell Me What You Want (I really want to know)!

1390 Market Street Suite 200 San Francisco Ca 94102

    $20.00

Hosted by Traci Freeman, AMFT, therapist with The Couples Center. Have you had a fantasy or desire that feels too vulnerable to share? You think about the "what if" I could tell my partner, then this great thing would happen. Being open and honest has its challenges for sure. This meet up is about letting your partner in so you both can come closer. **Discover what it means to your partner to share your sexual thoughts. **Help each other with instruction and letting them know what feels good. **Learning to trust each other, even if it gets odd or uncomfortable. **Identify what feels natural to you vs. what you feel you "should" be doing. Let's have fun while expanding our minds, our ideas and our relationship in new ways. This is for SINGLES and COUPLES. We all have things to discover about sensuality, intimacy and openness. As a therapist I will share some valuable tools to build confidence, trust and safety. There will be plenty of space for Q&A and open dialog. For those that want to continue meeting other fabulous people and keep the conversation going, there will be a casual get together afterwards at quaint wine bar one block away.

  • The Art of Listening

    Rudramandir

Upcoming dates: 11/04/2018 Time: 10 am to 6 pm Cost: $190 per individual or $380 per couple Location: Rudramandir in Berkeley, CA. Imagine being more intimate with your partner, communicating with ease with your friends, and being able to attune on a deeper level with others. To attune to another is our ability to be present to and “tune in” to their experience. It’s (attunement) mindfully paying attention to more than just words, but perceiving the motivation behind their body language. Most sincerely, attuning to others means you are opening your heart to truly connect to them. Listening in a heartfelt way will allow you to be more than a good listener, it will allow you to feel what others are saying, and truly be felt by others. In The Art of Listening, not only will you learn how to hear others, you will learn how to connect with what they are actually saying. In this workshop, we will explore: - The most common mistakes people make when it comes to listening. - Necessary skills to improve your ability to read the other’s subtle body language, so you hear them, even when they are not speaking. - How to put aside your thoughts and reactions, so you can truly engage with the other person. - Learn how to communicate to ensure your partner feels genuinely cared for or loved by you

  • The Magic of Intimacy a Daylong Couples Workshop

    Rudramandir

It’s almost inevitable that routine eventually takes over romance. The dishes take over date night, childcare takes over adventure. Sometimes life can feel like you are just managing it, and somewhere in there is a relationship that you miss. Connection and intimacy can feel so elusive. You probably tried at certain times to focus on each, making a commitment for regular dates nights or check ins. Yet, despite your best efforts, you still feel like you can’t find the same magic again. What if there’s a way to create these moments of intimacy consciously, so it’s not just magic anymore? Re-connecting is possible, even without spending a lot of time on it or taking an expensive vacation. There are opportunities for magic on a daily or weekly basis! In this workshop, you will learn that there are four types of creating connection, each one has its own flavor and ways of creating it. If you feel like you're lacking intimacy with your partner, it's like you succeed in some areas of relationship connection, while struggling in others. Take the time to enjoy a special day centered around mindfulness and heart-based connections. This workshop is an opportunity to slow down, focus on each other, and to consciously create a space that is both understanding and welcoming. You will explore various exercises that use mindfulness and the body-mind connection, so you practice, play and interact with your partner throughout the workshop. With each exercise and experience, you will develop tools that will continue to help you grow closer and be more intimate with your partner. By the end of the day, you'll know how to be more present and available to your partner by connecting to them from the heart and being your true self. You will also be able to reignite playfulness and enjoy a deeper sensuality within your relationship. This workshop offers real, practical and useful tools to help you and your partner get back on track! Some of the things we’ll explore together are: - The magic moments you each have shared together, and how to have more of these moments, more often. - Learn and play with the four types of connection – from “I’m here for you” to “let’s play together.” - Learn and practice how to create a ritual of connection with your partner. - Learn to recognize hidden opportunities for connection and how to make use of them, even when you’re really busy. http://www.thecouplescenter.org/members/the-magic-of-intimacy-one-day-workshop/
