Ride from Beavercreek Station to Young’s Dairy Every Sunday (weather permitting)

Beavercreek Station on Creekside Trail

Sunday Ride Beavercreek Station (on trail) to Young’s Dairy Every Sunday (weather permitting) (10 am start October thru April, 9 am May thru September) From Beavercreek Station, 1179 N Fairfield Rd, on the Creekside Trail, to Young’s Dairy near Yellow Springs. We usually ride to Young’s Dairy on the roads (there’s not much traffic on Sunday mornings) and return on the bike trails. We eat a leisurely brunch at Young’s Dairy and return to the start in about 3-1/2 hours. We do have some faster riders. I stay with the slowest riders and make sure everyone gets to Young’s and back with no problems. I average 12-13 mph. I’ve been leading and living this ride for over 20 years (!) I don’t ride to Young’s when the Dayton Cycling Club has an event ride. These 2 annual event rides are the Huffman Spring Classic (May) and the Wright Ride (August). Riders are welcome on the Young’s Dairy ride. It is a Dayton Cycling Club ride. Wear a helmet. A road bike is best. The roads and trails are well paved. I provide a cue sheet with directions for the route. I’ll post a map and directions here soon. More info and pics of the ride are at http://bicycl33.tripod.com Join us for a great time! About 40 miles round trip.
