Join NPS Interpretive Ranger Casey Huegel and myself on this relaxed-paced five-mile hike (2 1/2 - 3 hours) that begins atop Wright Brothers Hill, goes down to the bike path to Huffman Dam, then along paved paths and roads to Huffman Prairie. At Huffman Prairie we there will be lots to explore. The National Park Service has recreated the Wright Brothers hanger and workshop, the launching derrick and has included informational markers for a number of sites. This is where the Wright Brothers developed the first practical airplane and learned how to fly. We will then go back up the hill.
