Buckeye Trail Winter Hike - Group 3
Length: 8 miles
Duration: 3 hours with a break

Passport Hike: Caesar Creek and Buckeye Trail
Hike Description: The first part of the hike is an out and back using the Buckeye Trail (blue) to the Day Lodge and back (5.2 miles). After a short break at the Visitor Center, for part two we'll hike the Gorge Loop Trail near the dam (3 miles).
You will return from this hike in time for the potluck dinner at 2:00pm.

Dress: Dress for the weather! Dress in layers. Boots, hat, gloves, scarf, windbreak layer, and layers for upper and lower body. Wool, silk and synthetic fibers are best. Avoid cotton.
Hiking Gear: Bring appropriate winter hiking gear including trekking poles, gaiters, boot traction devices (YakTrax), day pack, snacks and water.
