Okay, so now my optimistic thoughts are that things will eventually dry out and we'll get a break from all the spring rain! The good news, though, is that in spite of all the rain being predicted over the weekend, Monday should be a beautiful evening for a hike. That being said, if we get all the rain predicted over the weekend, there will be mud on the trail again, so you may want to wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy or your hiking boots and dress warm in layers. Cox Arboretum has some hills but not too steep. You may want to bring a bottle of water and a headlamp or flashlight since it may get dusk while we are hiking. This will be approximately a 3.5 mile hike at a BRISK PACE (approximately 3 - 3.3 mph). The Legal Stuff: Your hike leader is just a fellow member volunteer.
