This is an opportunity to discuss the topic of death and dying in a fully present way. There are traditions that consider the idea that contemplating death on a daily basis allows one to be more present to live life fully engaged. Death Cafes originally started in Switzerland. Jon Underwood began them London. They have been meeting for almost 10 years around the world. At a Death Cafe people gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Our objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their lives. We will have cake and healthy snacks.
We will gather to share a conversation about death ...cake, light snacks and tea will be available ..No need to bring anything, just an open mind...donations are accepted to defray the costs...thank you and see you soon!
