What we're about

Decatur Makers is a welcoming, family-friendly community of inquisitive, motivated people who work together in a safe environment to discover, understand, design and create interesting things. We do host activities for children, but please note that any children present at a Meetup must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

We also have a google group and are on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram which we use to communicate and discuss activities. More info (and others ways to support us) here (http://decaturmakers.org/).

Atlanta Linux Enthusiasts (ALE) meeting

Decatur Makers

ALE has been promoting Linux and Open Source Software Freedom in Atlanta Since 1994. The group is now meeting at Decatur Makers on the third Tuesday of the month. See www.ale.org for specifics on the meeting topic. Although there is parking available in the church parking lot at the makerspace, we suggest you consider parking across the street or around the corner in the neighborhood to avoid conflicting with a pre-existing weekly Tuesday night church event.
