Want to grow your own delicious and colorful heirloom tomatoes? Then join us for a afternoon of seed planting. You can choose from 15 different varieties of hard-to-find heirloom and hybrid tomatoes-- each with their own unique taste and colors. We'll provide you everything you need to get started: organic growing mix, seeds, and pots.

The pots are unique too. They'll be made out of hemp fibers bound by mycelium, the root-like vegetative part of mushrooms. When ready to be transplanted in the ground, plants grown in these natural pots can be directly planted without need to remove them from the pot.

Seeds will be sold it lots of 6 pots for $12 and you can choose as many pots as you'd like. If you'd like to help make the mycelium pots in addition to growing some tomatoes, you can join us for Bio Mondays (https://www.meetup.com/Decatur-Makers/events/prdhgqyzdbxb/) on Feb. 18 and you'll get pots at a rate of 6 for $9.

Please plan to bring cash, check, or card to pay at the event!
