In this small, intimate class, you'll learn basic leather skills while making your own custom fit wrist cuff/bracelet. You will get hands-on to mark and cut leather, apply dye and finishes, add texture, punch holes, set snaps, bevel, shape, and burnish edges. No prior experience needed. If you can use a utility knife, you can do this!

Min age: 16 years old - adult

Max number of students in the class: 8

= $25 for non-members of Decatur Makers (for more info and to join, click here (https://decaturmakers.org/membership/))

No-shows won't be reimbursed unless you change your RSVPs to Not Going at least 2 days beforehand. Thanks!

The instructor, Amy Kinard, loves sharing her craft with others for the entirely selfish reason of enlarging the Atlanta leather working community. Her recent obsession is merging modern techniques such as laser cutting/engraving with traditional methods. In addition to leather work, she chases bankruptcy through quilting, sewing, cosplay, and pretty much any hobby which can make an enormous mess of her craft space in short order.
