What we're about

APRIL 14th, 2020 UPDATE: With the unprecedented shutdown due to COVID-19, we have moved our typical in-person club meeting to an online format on ZOOM for the duration of social distancing mandates by the government and health authorities.

We are welcoming up to 5 MeetUp Members as guests of our club as of the April 16th, 2020.

In order to participate as a guest we will need to be able to send you a password specific invitation by email once you've RSVP'd.

Going forward we will increase the number of guests for these meetings based on ensuring the best functioning of the meetings and providing a great guest experience. We look forward to meeting many of you soon!

We hope everyone is staying safe, and healthy during this time.

...Deer Park Toastmasters can help you do it better!

We have activities that encourage participation in communication and public speaking, and help to build and sharpen your interpersonal and leadership skills. We're a diverse group of people from various cultural backgrounds, at different stages in our career and life, all with unique experiences to share...and we share the same goals: to improve ourselves and provide support to each other within an organized, fun, multi-faceted learning environment.

Our meetings start at 6:30pm and last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours every Thursday except the first Thursday in each month.

Our Club Mission: To provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

Don't worry. Everyone at our Toastmasters Club was once as scared as you may be now! The environment is friendly and supportive, and has mentorships to assist you in taking the first steps to getting comfortable , gaining confidence, and reaching your desired goals.
