What we're about

Founded in 2015, Delaware Valley Agile is a non-profit professional community with around 800 members and growing, focused on the Agile mindset and related frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, Lean, LeSS, SAFe, and Scrum@Scale to deliver projects and products.

The Delaware Valley Agile Meetup provides a community to discuss the Agile mindset and related frameworks, discuss coding and software/web development tools, practices, and technologies, share project delivery experiences, help those who are seeking certifications, promote the core values and principles of Agile, provide and receive training, and network with potential employers, clients, business partners, friends and colleagues who share their interests!

Agile processes are highly collaborative, iterative and all focused on the rapid and repeatable delivery of any kind of product, and is most commonly used for software and web development projects. By delivering working, tested, deployable product on an incremental basis, Agile development delivers increased value, visibility, and adaptability much earlier in the lifecycle, significantly reducing project and product risk.

Our members are Agile practitioners and enthusiasts, and include Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, business owners, technologists, product managers, project managers, and subject matter experts. They represent a variety of industries, segments, and career levels.

Our group serves the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area, South Jersey, North Delaware, and Northeast Maryland.
