Come check out this new restaurant with some of your Meetup friends. Great $5.00 happy hour food and drink specials (see below). We have been able to get some reserved tables for our group. Ted's Montana Grille is right off Rt. 1 across from the Container Store. The great thing is that you don't have to go into the Christiana Mall's parking lot and fight holiday traffic.
After the happy hour some people are thinking about going over to the Christiana Mall which is right across the parking lot to do some shopping.
We will meet in the back of the bar area, so when you arrive go straight in and look for the yellow Meetup sign and the 15 or so other Meetup members from another group. I've eaten here and their Bison burgers are tasty and amazingly lean. So you can attend this happy hour and eat healthy. lol
We have limited seating so if you are not sure if you can make it to the event, PLEASE do NOT RSVP as "attending". If you are sure that you can make it but something changes, PLEASE change your RSVP to "not attending", so that someone that is on the waiting list that wants to go, can.
Ted's Montana Grill began in 2002, with two American entrepreneurs and a dream. As a business leader, philanthropist, environmentalist and avid outdoorsman, Ted Turner decided to share his love of Big Sky Country and its tradition of hearty food. He also wanted to celebrate an American icon: The bison who once thundered across the Great Plains. Ted joined forces with famed restaurateur George McKerrow Jr., a pioneer and leader in casual dining, and together they created Ted's Montana Grill.
Ted's, “Eat Great. Do Good.” is the overarching framework that brings together all of our sustainability programs and initiatives. Our mission is to be passionate and responsible, while following these guiding principles:
Passion's: Do the right things for our people and our planet. Make environmental considerations a priority in every decision. Act responsibly, to preserve what we can. Be passionate ambassadors to help raise sustainability consciousness. Follow the triple bottom line – Deliver economic profit, provide ecological benefit and impart benefits to local communities
At Ted’s Montana Grill, we strive to do the right things for our guests, our people and the planet. This began when our founders pioneered the effort to preserve the American bison by returning it to America’s table. They not only saved the species from extinction; they also built a restaurant company founded on the values of the Great American West, where genuine hospitality is a virtue and authentic food is always on your table.
Our commitment to showing guests the genuine hospitality that keeps them coming back is what we call, “Big Sky Spirit.” This is a place where they know they'll always find a greeting and a meal that makes them glad they visited.
