  • Last Demodays of the Semester!

This will be an all around tech day where you can hack all day long and try to create something tangible by the end of the day! If you arent hacking you can just come and hang out! There will be non-technical folk as well. Later in the day we will be hosting demos and a guest speaker. We will also have a beginner workshop on how to get started using hardware for hackathons! Format is as follows 1. Hackathon/Hackday by begins at 9AM 2. Lunch served around noon 3. Hardware workshop at 3PM, this is an introduction to using hardware taught by Create@cooper, Cooper Unions awesome tech club 4. Students present projects at 5PM, Tech@nyu and EIA presents student demos! Prior to Shake, Abe held various roles at early-stage technology startups in both New York and the Bay Area including Director of Sales and Marketing at Affinity Circles, the first private label social network provider, VP of Marketing and Biz Dev at iSoccer, a youth sports development platform, and product, biz dev, and marketing consulting roles at Change.org, Palantir, CampusGroups, and HireLabs. While in business school, Abe worked at both Canaan Partners and Greycroft sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities. During that time he co-founded the NYC Turing Fellows program to bring more engineering talent to NYC startups. He is also on the board of America Scores NY, a non-profit after school program for urban youth. Abe received his BA in Political Science from Stanford, where he also captained the Varsity soccer team for three years, and his MBA from Columbia where he was the President of InSITE.
