Guidelines for Exchange-
If this is your very first plant exchange or you are a new gardener, you don't have to brings any plants.
Bring items you can trade with. Ideas are - candy, pots, zip ties, soaps, lotions, egg shells, coffee grounds *Starbucks* call ahead of time to pick up the grounds) that you are willing to trade for plants. (You can also look on previous meetups for ideas). Not everyone wants something in trade, so just ask. Be sure to tell everyone that this is first exchange and you will see how nice everyone is and how they make you feel right at home.
Bring plants divided from your garden beds, potted up and labled. Bring cuttings and labled as well. ☆☆☆Plants are the stars☆☆☆ get creative about what else you would like to swap, such as garden art and sculpture, books, seed packets, extra tools, garden hats etc.
Label each item.
This plant exchange happens rain or shine.
There is limited number of tables & you will want to set up near the clubhouse doors. No reserved tables. Come early.
Pre-trades?? What is this?? You can pre-trade with other gardeners online and add your list (s) to the comment section of this meetup. Gardeners are looking for certain plants to exhange with other gardeners & agree ahead of time that they will bring those plants to the swap for each other. If a plant is under the table it usually means that they are the gardeners plant from an exchange. **Always ask b4 taking a plant off of anyone's table**
