The Power of our Breath!!
The breath is directly linked with the state of our mind and our emotions. For every emotion there is a breath pattern. For instance, when you are happy, your breath is deeper and slower. When you are sad or stressed the breath is more shallow. Normally, this relationship is a one-way street. In Art of Living we turn this relationship around and make it a two-way street. By working with the breath, we change our emotions. We can use our breath to manage the state of our mind, our thoughts and emotions.
What is meditation?
Harmony in sound is music. Harmony in movement is dance. Harmony in mind is mediation. Harmony in life is celebration.
Meditation is simply that which gives your mind deep rest. The rest you obtain when you meditate allows you to connect with you inner-self.
