Hi Denver Makers!
We're excited to have an evening all about machine learning! We'll start things off with pizza and drinks then kick off the meetup with an intro to automatic machine learning with H2O Driverless AI. Next, Nate Klyn from Oracle will talk about how the Oracle Data Cloud team uses machine learning to identify people in the market for new phones.
6:00PM - 6:30PM - Check-in + Pizza
6:30PM - 7:00PM - Introduction to Automatic Machine Learning with H2O Driverless AI
7:00PM - 7:45PM - Using Machine Learning to Identify Mobile Phone Switchers by Nate Klein, Senior Data Scientist at Oracle
7:45PM - 8:00PM - Q&A + Networking

Talk 2: Using Machine Learning to Identify Mobile Phone Switchers
Consumers who are likely to switch mobile phones in the near term are a desirable advertising audience for the competitive telecommunications and mobile device market. Telecoms and mobile device manufacturers understand who their customers are but sometimes lack understanding of their competitors’ customers. Incomplete information leaves their internal churn predictions focused on internal customers instead of identifying prospects for advertising campaigns. To meet this market need, the data science team at Oracle Data Cloud developed a solution that identified people who were likely to switch phones in the near future. This talk will provide a short overview of Oracle Data Cloud's role in the Ad Tech industry and walk through how Oracle Data Cloud uses machine learning to identify people in the market for new phones.
