Ladies, cybersecurity needs you! There’s no better way to sharpen your skills or try your hand at a little hacking than by attending a Beginner’s CTF. Come join other women for great food, conversation, and cybersecurity gaming!

Feeling like a cyber-n00b? Our Intro to CTF event is a great way for beginners to jump into the world of hacking. Our SecureSet instructors and alumni can help you configure your system and coach you along the way. You’ll be a flag-catching maestro in no time!

Agenda:
6:00pm to 9:00pm| Beginner’s Intro to CTF (Just the ladies this time!)

What to bring:
+ Laptop, preferably with Linux or some other *nix system that you prefer. It can be a VM or bare metal system.
+ Ability to access[masked]n (2.4 GHz) wireless or if desired, the ability to connect to ethernet.
+ Most levels can be done with an SSH client and a web browser.

Parking:
There is a paid lot at the corner of 21st and Blake. Meters are easily accessible for $1.00 per hour. If you go north of 23rd on Blake, Market or Welton, there is street parking for free and you can walk in.

If you love hacking and you enjoy a little competition, you won’t want to miss out on our CTF events. CTF is a way to put your real-life hacking skills to the test in a safe and controlled environment. If you get stumped, our Academy staff can answer any questions you have.
